Show-Off Frog

Hey Guys!

I have always loved frogs.  As a Child I had an Aunt who made a HUGE deal everytime I tried showing her a frog in my hand……I would say “Guess what I have” she would not be able to guess so I opened my hands and there was a frog.  She would run away and act scared!  No matter how many times I would ask her she NEVER could guess what was in my hands!  LOL  Looking back of COURSE she knew what was in there, she was the BEST Aunt and I have VERY fond memories of her!

Here is my card:

So, when I saw this So Hoppy Together stamp set by Stampin’ Up! it brought back these fun memories and this was first on my list to get for free!  Free?!  What?!  Yes, for the first three months every year SU! has a Sale a Bration catalog that you can earn FREE stamps! But, time is almost out, you can only get this stamp set while supplies last or the end of March.  Go check out Pinterest and see how many ideas you can get using this set!

I love how it looks like this frog is almost falling off this bike and his buddy is cheering him on.  This is for my Kids card class coming up!  Too cute!

Here are the specifics for this card:

Project 2: Frogs

Sponging the sky and ground make this scene come to life. I added clouds from Up & Away framelits after sponging them with Smoky Slate and then going over the sponged edges with Wink of Stella. This makes the clouds look like they have a silver lining!

I hope you enjoyed my post!

Hey Guys!

I hope you are enjoying my posts on my Christmas Cards that I will be doing in classes!  I love showing my girls these cards and hearing their oooh’s and aaaaah’s!  It totally makes my day!

I looked on Pinterest to get some ideas for this stamp set and there aren’t any out there!  So, here is my idea for a christmas card!

I love this Stamp set!  I’ve already started a scrapbook page using this set!

I am not a great colorer (is that a word?) but with the Stampin’ Up! Blends it is really easy!  Here are the particulars for this card:

Stamps: Homemade Kindness
Cardstock: Real Red 4 ¼” x 11”,5 1/8” x 3 7/8”,  Silver Foil 5 ¼” x 4”,  Whisper White 5 ¼” x 4” (inside), 5” x 3 ¾”
Inks: Memento Black, Call Me Clover & Basic Black markers, Blends: Real Red combo, Call Me Clover combo, Crumb Cake Combo, Smoky Slate combo, Color Lifter
Misc: Rhinestones

Below are pictures of what I used to make this card. Click on any picture to be taken to my OnLine Store!  If you live in the US and don’t have a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator I would love it if you would choose me!

Thank you for stopping by!

My Favorite ‘Holiday’ Halloween!

Hey Guys!

I say I love Halloween, but what do I love about it?  I love making scrapbook pages!  That’s it!  Well, I love the candy too.  heehee

Instead of making a page (I’ll do that too, I’m sure), I decided to make a card.  This was so much fun!!  If you want to watch me make it, go here to see my video!

I’m so happy that SU! has Blends (Alcohol Markers) in black now!  It sure makes coloring things easier.   This little witch is so cute, of course she is a good one!  Her kitty is too cute, love the expression.

I wanted to have a card the opens a little differently.  I die cut the sentiment tags using a die from Still Night stamp set.  The one in Gorgeous Grape is the size of the die.  I put the die through twice for the Granny Apple Green and Whisper White, to make it smaller. If you put the die over the long one, line it up so the middle is along the lines of the die, you can cut it as small as you want.  It gives it a very nice edge.  Underneath the Sentiment attaching to the other side is a small piece of Dual Lock.  It works like Velcro, but MUCH better for paper since it won’t pull too hard, it snaps into place.  Check out my video to see how it works!

The inside is super clean:

Don’t these colors go well together?  I hope you like my Halloween card!  I had a blast making it!

Below are pictures of all the supplies used for this project.  Click on any picture to be taken to my OnLine Store.

Moonlit Owl using NEW Occasions catalog!

Hey Guys!

Today I am showing you a card using the new stamp set Still Night.  It’s from the Occasions Catalog from Stampin’ Up!  I love owls, and this one called to me!  I was in bed last night and this design came to me.

This was so much fun to make!  And very easy too.  I did a video walking you through making this card, you can catch it here.

I love sponging and using the brayer.  It adds that extra oooomph!  LOL  Couldn’t think of another word that fit better!

The supplies used for this card are listed below.  Click on any pic and you will taken to OnLine Store!

I hope you like this card as much as I do!

Technique Tuesday-Making a Diamond pattern background

Today is Tuesday!  That means that I have a video out today showing another Technique!  Today’s Technique is making a Diamond pattern using the Simply Scored and sponging to highlight those scores.  It came out so pretty!  Surprisingly a very easy background!  I used the Fine Tip Glue Pen on each point that intersects and then added Silver Glitter.  You can see the video here!

I also used the FREE ribbon from Sale a Bration that has THREE different ribbons!  If you need one of the catalogs, just let me know and I will get it out to you!  You can also get the new 2018 Occasions catalog!  I send out mailings once a week, so just ask!

The inside is pretty too!  I LOVE the new Stamp set from Stampin’ Up! called Magical Day!  It really brings out my inner child!

Isn’t that Dragon too cute!?  I colored the wings and the parts of the Knight with the light Smoky Slate Blends!

I hope you enjoyed my post today!  Stay tuned, I will be sharing this months cards throughout the month!

Coming Soon! Sneak Peek to Magical Day!

Today I am sharing with you a couple of cards that I made for my YouTube Channel.  I have a very simple fold but the cards are stunning!  You can see the video here!

While I was at OnStage in Salt Lake City in UT I got to see first hand cards that were made using this set!!  I fell in LOVE!

Here is the front of my card:

The Designer Series Paper (DSP) is called Myths & Magic, it is embossed and GORGEOUS!!  ON the Video you can see how shiny and beautiful they are!

Here it is partially open:

I embossed the ‘sparkles’ on the side using Silver embossing powder.

Here is this card open all the way, isn’t it pretty!!?

I used Stampin’ Blends, and just love this card so much!!

Now, here is the other card, same design, different stamps!

I used the Myths & Magic Washi Tape on the side, isn’t it gorgeous!?

I am already planning on ordering MORE of this DSP and Washi Tape!

Well?  Do you love it?!  If you want a catalog, just let me know and I will get it to you!!

Click on any picture below and you will be taken to my OnLine Store!

Have a great day!
