When I got the Holiday Catalog by Stampin’ Up!, the first card I wanted to do was this one! It is soooooo pretty!!
I used once again the Embossing Folder Swirls & Curls. I didn’t think I wanted this folder, but once I saw it, I HAD to have it! This folder is one that does the deeper impressions, and it is stunning!
I’m not sure if you know this, but SU! Blends color our Rhinestones and you can have your jewels match your project now!

I am having so much fun making Christmas Cards for my local girls. The class is in October, and we spend all day eating, stamping and having fun! Everyone brings a dish to share, I have everything cut and ready for everyone to stamp and use the Big Shot. 16 cards are what all attendees take home with them! 3 each of 5 designs and 1 Special card. Stampin’ Up! has the BEST Christmas stamps!

Isn’t this snowman the cutest!? This card is easy but still a lot of fun to make! I stamped the snowman on white, then put a mask of the snowman on top of him so I could sponge Pool Party behind the snowman and not get him blue. I then colored him with Blends.

I am sharing with you my Christmas cards that I am doing with my classes in October. For my class my girls make 3 cards each of 5 different designs and one special card that they only make 1 of. They end up going home with 16 Christmas cards! We make a day of it, everyone brings food to share and we play Christmas songs! It’s a great way to get your Christmas cards done!

My class went really well for my Christmas in July! We made 5 designs where we made 3 of each design, and then made one of another, so my guests got to make 16 Christmas cards! We’ll be having 2 – 3 more of these classes but we will use different stamp sets! I love these classes and it also gets all my cards ready for Christmas! I don’t have to worry if I already sent a certain card to a family member/loved one because I ALWAYS make new Cards!

This was a fun one to make! The white snowflakes are stamped onto the Night of Navy using Versamark and white embossing powder. What a great way to make your own Designer Paper!
I colored my Rhinetones with my Night of Navy dark Blend! I also added Wink of Stella underneath the trees.

While at OnStage, an event that demonstrators attend to learn and get product early, I saw a card that made me make this card. I don’t know about you, but if I get an idea in my head it is very hard to wait to try and make it! I have a class that is at the Senior Center here in Kernersville that I bring elegant cards for the participants to make, this is one of the cards that we will be making soon.
I used the background stamp set Hardwood from SU! I stamped it with Versamark and then poured copper Embossing powder on it and heat set to make this dynamic background! Very easy (and still fun to do even after 17 years…….I LOVE to watch the magic of embossing!) yet this is a Stunner! The tree is from the NEW catalog from Stampin’ Up! called Rooted in Nature, that will be coming out in June 2018.

Today is Tuesday! That means that I have a video out today showing another Technique! Today’s Technique is making a Diamond pattern using the Simply Scored and sponging to highlight those scores. It came out so pretty! Surprisingly a very easy background! I used the Fine Tip Glue Pen on each point that intersects and then added Silver Glitter. You can see the video here!
I also used the FREE ribbon from Sale a Bration that has THREE different ribbons! If you need one of the catalogs, just let me know and I will get it out to you! You can also get the new 2018 Occasions catalog! I send out mailings once a week, so just ask!
The inside is pretty too! I LOVE the new Stamp set from Stampin’ Up! called Magical Day! It really brings out my inner child!
Isn’t that Dragon too cute!? I colored the wings and the parts of the Knight with the light Smoky Slate Blends!

Today I am sharing with you a couple of cards that I made for my YouTube Channel. I have a very simple fold but the cards are stunning! You can see the video here!
While I was at OnStage in Salt Lake City in UT I got to see first hand cards that were made using this set!! I fell in LOVE!
Here is the front of my card:
The Designer Series Paper (DSP) is called Myths & Magic, it is embossed and GORGEOUS!! ON the Video you can see how shiny and beautiful they are!
Here it is partially open:
I embossed the ‘sparkles’ on the side using Silver embossing powder.

I used Stampin’ Blends, and just love this card so much!!

I used the Myths & Magic Washi Tape on the side, isn’t it gorgeous!?
I am already planning on ordering MORE of this DSP and Washi Tape!

How does time get away from me? I know! It’s because I get to stamping in my stamp room and time just flies!
As I went to bed last night, I was thinking of what had to be done……….THIS is why it’s so hard to shut my brain off when I go to bed! I thought I still had plenty of time to come up with a Star Wars birthday card for my Grandson, Isaac. NOPE!! I am in North Carolina, he’s in California and his birthday is in 3 days! NOT sure it will get there in time, but I’ve been talking and thinking about this card for a MONTH! 🙂 Does that count?
Here is what I came up with (thanks to Pinterest and Carrie Rhodes!):
I am NOT a big Star Wars Fan, so thank goodness for Pinterest! 🙂 Now, don’t get me wrong, I like Star Wars, I’m just not a HUGE fan! I hope he likes it! My daughter wants me to make one of each Character, I already made Yoda, so anyone have any pictures of anyone who might have made the other characters? I have ONE year to plan! hahaha Hope I make it on time!
Here is some of the pieces used to make it, some are retired, but all are from Stampin’ Up!, (see below for all product) glad I held on to them!
Of course I trimmed all the circles away, BUT you might want to learn from me……..wait until the glue is DRY before doing that! I had to start over! Thankfully the mail hadn’t come by the time I finished!
