Special Fold Card using the Retiring set Beach Happy

Hey Guys!

Today I am sharing with you a card that has a special Fold.  I used the Stamp set from Stampin’ Up! called Beach Happy.  This is retiring at the end of the month, so if you want to get it, don’t dilly dally!!

I really love this set…….I don’t usually hang onto my retiring stamps but this one I am not letting go!  🙂

Here is my card:

The white Sentiment is really a tab that sticks into the other side of the card and it holds the card closed.

Here you can see how it looks partially open.

Isn’t this is so pretty!!? I got this idea from Debbie Naylor, you can see her card here.  Debbie’s is a little different, she adhered her flap to the back, I wanted mine to open up fully.

I LOVE palms, seeing them makes me happy! Probably because I took them for granted while growing up in SoCal I never appreciated them until I don’t have them everywhere!  My hubby has some in our yard to bring me joy!

Christmas Card #15 Black and White Farmhouse Christmas

Hey Guys!

I love when I design a card and it turns out great!  I get so worried when I am designing on my own, I ‘think’ it turns out good, but have to ask everyone I know what they think, just to be sure!

Here is the card:

I love how this looks like a photo with a tree on the side. I used the Colorful Seasons Die to get the scalloped edge, I cut both the white and the Silver Glimmer to go behind it.  In person, this is really pretty and shiny!  Basic Gray is on the inside to offset the Silver, it is a great look!  I love how stamping the house and tree in the ‘picture’ is an easy way to use this stamp set, and just cut out the tree and your card is just about ready!

Here are the specifics for this card:

Supplies:

Stamp set: Farmhouse Christmas, Star of Light, Winter Woods
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White 4” x 11”, Whisper White 3 ½” x 3 ¾”, 3” x 3 ½”, 3 ¼” x 3” (for black and white house),
Silver Glimmer 3 3/8” x 3 3/16”, 4” x1 ½”, Basic Gray 4” x 5 3/8”
Inks: Basic Gray, Shaded Spruce, Memento Black
Misc: Big Shot, Seasonal Layers thinlits, Dimensionals, Metallic Pearls, sponges, Wink of Stella

This is one of my favorites that I designed! I hope you like it too!!

Below are pictures of the supplies used for this card, click on any picture and you will be taken to my OnLine Store! I would love to be your Demonstrator if you live in the US.

Thank you for stopping by, please come back and see me!

Christmas in July Card # 3

Hey Guys,

My class went really well for my Christmas in July!  We made 5 designs where we made 3 of each design, and then made one of another, so my guests got to make 16 Christmas cards!  We’ll be having  2 – 3 more of these classes but we will use different stamp sets!  I love these classes and it also gets all my cards ready for Christmas!  I don’t have to worry if I already sent a certain card to a family member/loved one because I ALWAYS make new Cards!

Here is the front of this one:

and the inside:

This was a fun one to make!  The white snowflakes are stamped onto the Night of Navy using Versamark and white embossing powder.  What a great way to make your own Designer Paper!

I colored my Rhinetones with my Night of Navy dark Blend!  I also added Wink of Stella underneath the trees.

Hope you like it!

The supplies are listed below, click on any of the pictures and you will be taken to my OnLine Store!
