Thanksgiving

Once in a while I take time off, next week is Thanksgiving, of course I am taking it off! In this situation my husband does all the cooking! Because I do all the cleaning up I don’t feel too guilty. But, when it comes to helping and making the gravy, I am his Sous Chef! Yes! I am a very lucky girl, we just celebrated our 35th wedding year! As always it’s so great to get together with our family!

Super Easy Magnetic closure

You don’t have to color!

Hey Guys, I’m bringing you a super easy Magnetic closure card that you don’t have to color!! Currently I am in California visiting my Daughter and then bringing my Grandson home for a visit! Furthermore this is his first visit without his parents, any ideas on what we can do?!! As far as the card today, it is a fun one! Especially since it is easy and can be made in minutes! Occasionally I make wow cards that are still simple. Subsequently I came up with this one, spoiler…I did get the idea from Pinterest from Donna Ross. Of course she used Velcro to close her card, but I like to have an easy magnetic closure. This way you can see it and nothing spoils the card!

Faux Bargello Technique

Great way to use DSP in a different way

Hey guys, The faux Bargello technique is one of my favorites. Indeed, I learned it 13 years ago and thought I should revisit it! As can be seen below, this is an easy technique that gives you a distinct look. Overall, you take a DSP and stamp on it, then cut into strips place on a base but be sure to offset the strips just a tad up or down. Of course you can see how I did it, by clicking here. Every Thursday I have videos either Live or Pre-Recorded. This video is live and if you comment while I’m live you get put in the drawing to receive this card in your mailbox!

Hey Guys, Today I am making a simple greeting card using Cheerful Daisies! Of course this was one of the stamp sets I HAD to get once we could order it! Being a Stampin’ Up!
