Reverse Eclipse Card

Hey Guys!

Today I am showing you a simple card that can be used for any celebratory occasion!  I used the Stamparatus from Stampin’ Up! to have the image ” celebrate” repeat.  You just line up the stamp on the cardstock at the top, ink the stamp, close the Stamparatus, stamp and then move the Stamparatus down to the next slot, and the Stamp is positioned perfectly all down the cardstock.  You can watch a video here to see what exactly the Stamparatus is!

But to see the process I did, watch this video!   The Stamparatus will be available when the new catalog comes out!  Contact me if you need a new Catalog!!

Here is a pic of my card:

I am very proud of this simple card!  If you know me, or watch my Youtube Channel you kind of know that I love cards that are a little more detailed and use a technique of some kind.  So, when I make a card that is easy to do, but still lets me have fun and do a technique, I am in HEAVEN!

The measurements for this card are:

Pool Party: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, plus scraps for the ‘YOU’
Basic Black: 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″ (x2 for the inside too), 3 1/4″ x 2  for the label
Whisper White: 3 3/4″ x 5″ (x2 for the inside too), 2 3/4″ x 1 3/4″ for the label with the ‘YOU’ cut out.

For the Black label under the white label I cut it down on both top and bottom so it lines up with the white on top and bottom.  I used the Lots of Labels Dies 4th and 5th from the outside.

Below, you will see all the supplies I used for this card.  If you click on any image you will be taken to my OnLine Store!  If you purchase from me, I will send you one of my handmade cards!

Eastern Beauty trying new combinations!

Today I am playing with Eastern Beauty, a NEW stamp set from Stampin’ Up!  This stamp set is so Versatile!!  I have seen so many different ways of stamping  with this set so I thought I would give it a try and just play with it!  I DID end up making a card!  And I love how it came out!

Here it is:

It’s a monochromatic card using ONE ink pad!  The ink I used is Dapper Denim! To get the two different colors I just stamped once on a scratch paper before I stamped on the cardstock.

The cardstock I used is Dapper Denim and Soft Sky.  The measurements are:

Dapper Denim:  5 1/2″ x 4  1/2″, scored at 1 1/4″ and another piece    5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″   (I had to cut it this way since the thinlit won’t fit through the Big Shot from side to side. The flap that I scored fits over the back of the 5 1/2″ x 4  1/4″ )

Soft Sky: 5 1/4″ X 4″ and 5 1/4″ X 3″

I then placed the curvy Thinlit from Seasonal Layers on the bottom of each piece (away from the flap on the one, and along the smaller Soft Sky)  centering it on each side so it is even.  NOT at at same time though!

Stamped this first:

Then turned stamp….

Then:

There are all kinds of ways to do this!  You can place the diamond shape further apart and get this:

Then go from there:

I put a different middle on this one!  Plus I stamped that pretty 3 point exclamation (not sure what to call it!) at each curve.

I stamped the Life is Beautiful stamp along the curve at the bottom twice and then once more stamped the ‘diamond’ shape but stamped off since I wanted it to be lighter than the words.

Here’s more images from this stamp set:

This one uses the stamp from the set that has the point in the middle, just line it up and stamp between each valley and it looks like a Spirograph from when I was a kid!

One more:

Hope you love this stamp as much as I do!  I’ve been having a lot of fun playing with it!  I would love to hear from you which image YOU like best!  Just place a comment here and you will also be eligible for my Blog Candy!  Which is this:

Sneak Peek Eastern Palace Suite and New In Colors

Being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is so fulfilling!  I get to meet so many great people, learn new techniques AND I get to pre-order product from the NEW Catalog!  It’s so much fun to be able to not only SEE new product, but I get to buy it and YES play with it before a lot of people!

THAT is worth the price of admission!   LOL  I know that is a saying, but to me it is so exciting!!

Not sure I told you this, but it wasn’t until I was introduced to SU! that I found out that I am creative!  What?!  You could have knocked me over with a feather, to find that out!  But, it’s now something that I don’t ever want to live without!

So, now that I have bored you with my reasoning on why I am a Demonstrator with the best company, I will share with you the card I made with the New stamp set Eastern Beauty:

It’s hard to see in this picture but I used the Sparkle Embossing Folder on the Black Cardstock, it matches the Designer Series Paper Eastern Palace perfectly!  Stampin’ Up! thinks of everything!

The Designer Paper is that beautiful new In Color Lemon Lime Twist, and did you know that Fresh Fig ink goes great with Lemon Lime Twist AND Eggplant Envy!  I also used the Glitter Enamel Dots that go with these colors great!

Here is the inside of the card:

Love, Love, Love this set!  You also can’t see in the picture, but the small flowers on the bottom have a Glue Dot inside the center and then I pushed Dazzling Diamonds into it, they make the perfect circular accent, AND they are Cheap!  lol  And because the Dazzling Diamonds are on them, they aren’t sticky anymore on top!

Again, don’t forget about the Blog Candy that I am offering!

May 15 is the date that I will have the drawing where you may be able to get it for FREE!  I love embossing folders, them give you the best texture and it just makes you want to touch the card!  You get into the drawing, just by commenting on any post here on my blog or on my Facebook Page between now and the 15th!  And there isn’t any limit on how many times you want to comment!  Go back as far as you want on this blog, and comment away!  🙂

I hope, once again, that you have enjoyed my post!  Subscribe to my blog to not miss out on any posts!
