Fancy Fold & Who let the Sheep out!?

This new fold is easy AND pretty!

Hey Guys!

I’m home and I’ve got a great new fancy fold for you, that’s pretty AND easy! Above all, I love new folds and especially love them when they aren’t hard! Thus, when I saw this fold done by Lavonne S. I had to give it a try! This is the same fold as doing a 3 step card, but with making the folds go a different way you have a brand new Fancy Fold! Earlier today I did my Live on my YouTube channel where I showed you how to make these cards, I hope you join me and if you join while I’m live you can be in the drawing to have one of these cards mailed to you!

I love new folds and especially love them when they aren’t hard!

Besides doing fancy fold cards I love cutesy cards and the Counting Sheep stamp set fits that bill perfectly! Plus, this stamp set is one you can get for FREE! Yes, you heard that right this stamp set is a Sale-a-Bration (SAB) set and when you buy something for $50 you can pick Counting Sheep as your free set. Of course that is only if you purchase before the end of September! For this reason, you can buy the bundle for the Peaceful Cabin! Indeed, this bundle you can get for $54 and that will let you pick out a free SAB item! Basically that is a ‘Win-Win’!!

Sneak Peek!! Amazing Life

Hey Guys!

Sorry it’s been a couple weeks, ok maybe longer…… I went to Orlando to attend the Stampin’ Up! ON Stage get together that SU! Demo’s attend.  I had such a great time! It was great rooming with my ‘SU! Besties’ (my girl friends and I only meet up at SU! functions) and learning/seeing all the new things coming out in January!!  I then spent a week with my Husband in Orlando for our 30th Anniversary!  The bummer is that I got sick the day after he got there. 🙁  I am STILL sick, and it’s been a MONTH!  Hence the reason why I haven’t been posting!

The card I am sharing with you today is from a stamp (Amazing Life) that we got for FREE while at OnStage!   I came up with this all on my own!!  I LOVE making my own designs, but time allowances don’t always make it to where I can do it.

I used this stamp from the set:

Doesn’t look like much right?

Well, I stamped it along the bottom with the two swirls going down, in Soft Suede ink. Repeated it along the bottom, lining up the swirls so they touched, then flipped the stamp over and lined up the two lines that are in the middle of the stamp.  I repeated this on top of the ones I stamped along the bottom and then flipped the stamp so the swirls were on the bottom again, and started all over to make a pattern!

After making the pattern, I stamped the 3 dot stamp in Petal Pink between the stamped pattern.  Don’t you LOVE how it came out!?  I was so tickled to see the beautiful pattern that this stamp made!!  If you watch the video I made you can see how It was done, if this doesn’t make sense.  I used other stamps for other designs, so be sure and check it out!

Sharing my handmade Birthday cards I got!

Yesterday was Easter AND my Birthday!  Why is that special?  Well, my Maiden name and the one I still use as my middle name is Easterday!  I don’t remember my birthday ever falling on Easter, but I haven’t really googled it.  It was an extra special day because of it!

I received some beautiful Birthday cards, and I wanted to share them with you!

This one is from my good friend Bea Redd.  This is a stamp set from Stampin’ Up!  that brought back some great memories!  It’s retired, but the sayings are so cute!  The inside says “from your 110 pound friend”  Now, this would be extremely funny if I sent this, but I doubt Bea is much more than 110 pounds!   Thanks Bea!

This card is from Kathy VanAntwerp or Twerp as I (and a lot of her friends) call her!  This is stamps also from SU!, but they are still available, but not for long!  They are retiring.  LOVE this card too!  So nice getting Happy Mail!  Thanx Twerp!!

This card is from Debra Byrd.  The balloons are retiring, but the swirly behind the happy bday is still in!  And the Stitched framelits are still in too!  This is a very fun card!  It made me feel happy!!  Thank you Debra!

This handmade card is from a Stampin’ Up! stamp set!  I got this from a GREAT group here in North Carolina that is for Demonstrators.  We get together every 3-4 months and stamp together!  We learn from each other, love each other and support each other!  NCDemo’s is awesome!  Thank you for your card!  They send one out to EACH member!

I hope you enjoyed my Birthday cards as much as I did!  You can always go out and  buy a greeting card for you loved ones, they look at it, say how cute and then they probably toss it!  BUT if you MAKE them a card, they know that you REALLY thought about them, spent time hand making them a card that they will cherish!  My family saves each and every card I make for them!  They are a work of art!  Let me help you learn how to handmake your greeting cards!  I make them for all occasions and enjoy it so much!  I have classes each and every month, AND I also have ‘show me how to make that’ videos on Youtube that you can always check out!!

I thought I didn’t have a crafty bone in my body until I discovered Stampin’ Up!, they make it so easy!  Now, I am tickled that I feel crafty and can make beautiful things that help bring others joy!

Hope you come back soon!  Don’t forget to subscribe to my blog so you won’t miss my next post!  You can also subscribe to my newsletter and get ideas and check out my stamping schedule!
