Let’s Go Shopping – info

As you can see, these were really fun to make! Of course book stores are my favorite. Every night I read for at LEAST 2 hours. Because I love to read, book stores make me calm and happy. However, since I got Carpal Tunnel I am not able to buy actual books anymore. Therefore I get all my books on Kindle. I prop my book up and just have to turn pages! Luckily I am able to get most of my books from the library. So easy to download! For the first card I love the look of the Granny Apple Green behind the store, it really makes the store pop, don’t you think?! As for the 2nd card, I love that it isn’t a full card like you would normally see. This fold really adds to this fun card!

A 1 1/2″ x 3/4″ stamp made this background?!

Hey Guys!

Who doesn’t love a Technique!?

Today I am sharing with you a card I made that uses a teeny tiny stamp to make a background that is really amazing! Moreover, it is embossed with Copper to make it REALLY stand out! I love this technique, I hope you like it as much as I do!

You’ll have to watch video to see how, it’s too hard to describe otherwise!

Didn’t it come together well? As I said, techniques have always inspired me and helped to make my stamping even more fun! Look through your stamps and see if any image has this basic shape and see what you come up with! If you didn’t catch this technique, go check it out!

Winner of my Painted Harvest Faux Needlepoint!

For those of you that have been here before, I like to give things away!  I also like to step cards up since they have to met my standards ( I have to be excited about what I make).  Two weeks ago I made such a fun card that I HAD to give it away.  For those who left me a comment here on my blog or on my Video on YouTube (making this card) I figured I would have a drawing and you could get this card in the mail:

Thank you for all your comments!  This was my favorite stamp set in the Holiday Mini.  I am very happy to mail this card out to:

Congrats Kathy!!  When you are able, please send me your mailing address!  This card is even prettier in person, I can’t wait for you to get it.   🙂

If you would like to see how I made this card, you can go to this YouTube Video.

Remember to come back on Tuesday’s to see my Next Technique Tuesday project.
