A Masculine & A Pretty card using Forever Grapevine

Today I am making two cards that your loved ones would love to get!

Hey Guys!,

Forever Grapevine can make a Masculine AND a pretty card! Consequently, this set was one I HAD to get in my very FIRST order when the NEW catalog came out from Stampin’ Up! How about you? What was your first stamp set that you bought from the new catty? In addition to making this blog post, you can catch my LIVE YouTube video and see exactly how I made these cards, just click here!

Also, I have a bunch of videos over on my TedderBearStamping site on YouTube, I hope you will check them out!

Incidentally, I LOVE grapevines! For Instance, when we bought our house in Delaware there were grapevines, and we had no idea how to take care of them! As a result, the people who sold us the house told us how to trim them every winter and we had grapes that we loved to eat!

So then, here is my first card:

You can make a Masculine AND a pretty card with one stamp set!

Who doesn’t love a Palm Tree!?

Hey Guys,

First off, I want to thank you for sticking with me. I haven’t always been consistent with my blogging, but I HAVE been consistent with my classes. If you would like to do any of my classes let me know, I love to make cards and decorations and would love to have you join me!

Second, the card I am going to show you today is one that I somewhat cased (which means that I saw a card, loved it but changed it up just a little), this one was inspired by Michele Zindorf. She is very awesome but not everyone can do what she does, so I try to bring it down to what I would hope with some guidance anyone can do! Here is her card:

My card is one that fits in a regular envelope, that was my main objective……make this card, but have it fit into an envelope I have.

What I love about her card is that you really get to see the basket weave background, since I had to make mine smaller you get a hint of that!

Here is my card:

Not sure if I have told you this in the past, but my husband has a virtual tropical paradise in our yards, here in North Carolina! I grew up in SoCal, we and go to Disney World all the time and we both love how tropical it is. So, of course I naturally gravitate towards tropical stamps…..this one REALLY called to me! I hope you love how this came out as much as I do!

Here is the inside of this card:

Rooted in Nature Masculine card

Hey Guys!

I don’t know about you, but I LOVE checkered paper!  Well, the great news is that Stampin’ Up! has come out with an awesome stamp that lets you have a checkered pattern on any cardstock in any color!

I used Soft Suede cardstock and stamped the Buffalo Check in Black.  It came out so nice!!  I stamped the Big Oak tree from Rooted in Nature and die cut it (thank God, no more fussy cutting!), put it on a square piece of Black and it really popped.  Once I put it on the Checkered pattern I was in love!  I used the Black 3/8″ Glittered Organdy Ribbon from the NEW 2018 Holiday Catalog.  It was the perfect touch!  Instead of doing what I normally do, I placed the ribbon over the square, because it looked great with the tree ‘sitting’ on it!  I hope you like it!

I’m teaching a class on the 10th at our local Senior Center, this will be one of the cards we will be making!

I have so much fun rubber stamping.  When I was a young adult my sister started painting on porcelain making dolls and pottery.  I was so impressed with her artistic ability.  I thought well God gave her a gift, I am NOT artistic!  Then I started stamping, at first I copied everything, then slowly started changing things up.  I am so happy to tell you, I AM artistic!  WOOHOO! I joined Stampin’ Up! over 15 years ago, and can’t see my life NOT doing this.  If you would like to join my team, I would love to help you be artistic too!

Thanks for stopping by!

Sneak Peek Rooted in Nature

Hey Guys!

While at OnStage, an event that demonstrators attend to learn and get product early, I saw a card that made me make this card.  I don’t know about you, but if I get an idea in my head it is very hard to wait to try and make it!  I have a class that is at the Senior Center here in Kernersville that I bring elegant cards for the participants to make, this is one of the cards that we will be making soon.

I used the background stamp set Hardwood from SU!  I stamped it with Versamark and then poured copper Embossing powder on it and heat set to make this dynamic background!  Very easy (and still fun to do even after 17 years…….I LOVE to watch the magic of embossing!) yet this is a Stunner!  The tree is from the NEW catalog from Stampin’ Up! called Rooted in Nature, that will be coming out in June 2018.

I got this set FOR FREE while at On Stage along with 4 other stamp sets!  If you want a job where you get freebies, get to play every day and meet FANTASTIC people, join my team and become a Demonstrator!

I  colored the Rhinestones using the Bronze Blends so it would all coordinate!  THAT is the reason I decided to join SU!, I don’t have to guess which colors coordinate!  Plus, I got the discount!  hahahaha

Thanks for stopping by, if you like what you see and want to buy from me, just click on any pic below and you will be taken to my OnLine Store!
