Sea of Texture see through card

Hey Guys!,

The card I am sharing with you today is another CASE’d card from Pinterest by Karen Farquhar.  Here is her card:

I made my inside a bit different, and didn’t add the coral die cut to the front.  When doing a class, I need to cut down on what I use since it will make the class too long otherwise.

Here is my card:

Tea Together No Line Stamping

Hey Guys!

Today I am sharing with you a card I made in remembrance of my Mom.  All the women/girls in the family would meet up and have tea at a very upscale tea room!  This was our tradition.  When I saw the stamp set from Stampin’ Up! Tea Together I HAD to get it!  I saw online a LOT of cards featuring this set and the No Line technique. It was so pretty I decided to try it out myself!

Here is my take:

I made a video that you can see here.  This was a lot of fun once I got past the worry about doing it right!  I had to remind myself that it is just PAPER!  LOL

I used the Designer Series Paper All My Love to be a ‘table’ for my tea set.  Flirty Flamingo was used for the left  tea set, Mint Macaron for the right.  I felt as if I was an artist, and I really love how it came out!

After making these cards I wanted a Home Decor item that I can forever remember my Mom and all the good times we had.

The framed art I saw was by Sara Levin, here is her framed piece:

I only had an 8″ x 8″ frame so I made mine a little bigger.

I hope you enjoyed this post, and will come back again!

If you are living in the US and are in search of a SU! Demo I would love to work with you!  Below are pictures of what was used to make these projects, click on any picture below and you will be taken to my OnLine Store!

Chicken Wire – Retiring soon, don’t wait!

Hey Guys!

Today’s card was a really fun one to make.  The sad news is that the Chicken Wire (which I LOVE) is retiring!  Say it ain’t so!

I decided to play with it before it was gone…..    Here is the card I made for you today!:

I know that this picture looks like I used Tempting Turquoise, but the colors are all wrong, this was made using Bermuda Bay.  Bermuda Bay is one of my very favorite colors!  Not sure why my camera decided not to show the true color.

I used the Stamp set from SU! called Sitting Pretty.  This stamp set is so much fun to stamp with, all the stamps work together so you don’t ‘color’ anything, you stamp it.  Using the Stamparatus makes it even better!

Here are the specifics for this card:

Stamp Sets Pg #
Sitting Pretty
Paper
Bermuda Bay 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
Soft Sea Foam 4 1/4″ x 3 3/8″

Soft Sea Foam

Accessories
Chicken Wire Elements
Galvanized Buttons

Silver Embossing powder/embossing buddy/heat tool

The Galvanized Buttons are no longer available sad to say.  So make sure if you want/need the chicken wire, get your order in now!!

If you are living in the US and are in need of a SU! Demo, look no further!  I would love to be yours!  Below are all the items used for this card, if you click on any of them you will be taken to my OnLine Store!

Thank you for stopping by!  Please come back and see me!
