I know my title explained it, but let me tell you again! I’m Participating in Kylie Bertucci’s International Blog Hop!! This is my first time, and I am hoping that you will vote for me!! Well, vote for my card. 🙂 Click HERE to vote!!
The theme is Masculine, and I went through THREE cards before I picked this one! In fact, I had one card alllllll ready and then I tore it apart and did it different! I don’t even have the picture of the before! Sheesh!
I used for this theme the Eastern Beauty stamp set from Stampin’ Up!, and the Eastern Palace Designer Series Paper. I LOVE this DSP because I can see so many ways to use it! I am almost through the first pack and I’m ready to buy another one!
Here is the card that I entered for the Blog Hop Contest:
I LOVE the way the stamps work together and the Thinlits fit together so easily! I’ve done other cards using this set, and I haven’t even touched all the things I WANT to do with it! Do YOU love this versatile stamp set as much as I do?
I used from the outer edge in:
Very Vanilla 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″ for the base
Basic Black 5 3/8″ X 4 1/8″
Gold Foil sheets 5 1/4″ X 4″
DSP Eastern Palace 5 1/8″ X 3 7/8″
Basic Black 1/2″ X 4″ cut with NEW punch Ticket Tear Border on both sides
1/4″ X 4″ Gold Foil strip that fits inside Border punch
3 1/8″ sq Gold Foil
3″ sq Very Vanilla
2 7/8″ sq basic Black
Fresh Fig thinlit from Eastern Medallions
1 7/8″ circle of Very Vanilla cut from Layering Circles Thinlits
17/8″ medallion from Eastern Medallions (cut out after ran through Big Shot)
Gold Faceted Gem
There are dimensionals between the black and Fresh Fig Medallion and between the Fresh Fig Medallion and the circle punches.
I stamped the image in the picture along the bottom using Fresh Fig ink, doesn’t it make a really pretty pattern?
This wasn’t a very difficult card, I just had to play with all the pieces with different colors/patterns before I was satisfied.
So? Do you think it’s worthy of your vote!!?? Please!!?? LOL
I hope to play along each month, so hopefully you won’t get tired of me begging for your vote!! Again, Please Vote for my Card!!
