Sympathy card using Bokeh stamp

Hey Guys!

I love the Bokeh stamp from Stampin’ Up!  When I stamp with it, just looking at it makes me smile.  It is very subtle and makes me relax for some reason.  For this card I inked the image using So Saffron on one side and Soft Sea Foam on the other, then I huffed on it and stamped it in the middle of a piece of Very Vanilla.  I then stamped ‘With Sympathy’ from Flourishing Phrases in Black in the middle.

I will be teaching this in a class at our Local Senior Center in Kernersville on Wednesday.  The Gold Foil paper surrounding the Very Vanilla sets off not only the stamp but the black background.

Hope you like this card!!  All the supplies used for this card are listed below, click on any picture to be taken to my OnLine Store! I would love if you would choose me as your Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator if you live in the US!

A NON Christmas Card using Farmhouse Christmas

Hey Guys!

I am so excited that as a demonstrator for Stampin’ Up!, that I get to purchase NEW items a month before they are available to the public!  I wanted to use them right away BUT didn’t necessarily want to do Christmas.  So, my dilemma……….how do I use these obvious Christmas sets and NOT have it be Christmas.

I got out the Farmhouse Christmas stamp set, decided to use the tree  AND the incredible fence!!  Did you see the fence!!??  I stamped the tree on Soft Suede using Early Espresso ink. This stamp set better stick around because I can use that fence for a lot of things!  Follow this link to see my video.

Isn’t it the cutest!!??  Not sure if you can see the Glitter snow in front of the fence, but in person it is very shiny and sparkly!  The tree has snow in all its crannies.  I used the Fine-Tip Glue pen to go over the white (used the chalk marker) and then sprinkled Dazzling Diamonds over the wet glue.  I forgot how much I LOVE Dazzling Diamonds!  I will be getting that out a lot more.

I stamped the ‘Love You’ from the Enjoy Life stamp set using Versamark and white embossing powder.

I layered these onto a piece of Early Espresso, but before I layered these onto white I wrapped some Burlap Ribbon around and adhered a True Gentleman button in the middle.  If you look closely you can see a Rhinestone that I colored with the Bronze Blend to go into the middle of the button (I HATE threading linen thread through those tiny holes!).  The final layer is Soft Suede to tie in all the colors.

I’m planning on doing this card in a class this month.  Hope they like it as much as I do!

Below are all the supplies I used for this card.  Click on any picture to be taken to my OnLine Store!

Thanks for stopping by!  Check back in!  I’m adding all my cards that I do for my classes to this blog!

Sitting Pretty

Hey Guys,

Today I am sharing you another CASE’d card (Copy and share everything), I got this idea from Nicolle Belisimo on Pinterest.  It’s almost exactly like hers!  Thanks Nicolle!

My vase is a different color, and I embossed the words in Copper.

I love the copper ribbon!

I used the Stamparatus to line the stamps up, boy does that make it nice!!

The supplies for this project are listed below, click on any picture to be taken to my OnLine Store!

Flying Home

Hey Guys!

Today I am sharing with you a handmade card I had at my class last month!

I used the Myths and Magic DSP (Designer Series Paper), which you have seen in my post here:  I LOVE this paper!  I’ve seen a LOT of Designer Paper in my 17 years of stamping, I think this IS my favorite one yet!

The dimensions for this card are:

Elegant Envy: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, 3 1/4″ sq for scallop circle, scraps for the flowers
Calypso Coral: 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
Painted with Love DSP: 3 3/4″ x 5″
Whisper White 5 1/4″ x 4″ for inside, and 3″ x 3″ for Stitched framelit

For the flowers, I punched out a 1/2″ circle and then placed it on my Stampin’ Pierce Mat and with the NON pokey side of my paper piercer, I pushed down in the center of the circle and it made it a flower shape!  I placed a pearl in the ‘bowl’ that I made to make a matching flower to the cardstock I used!

I hope you enjoyed my project!  And that you come back again!  If you get the chance go visit my YouTube Channel and see cards/projects that take a little more instruction!   My passion is making cards/projects that challenge me, or that STILL delight me that I AM artistic!  I thought my sister got all the artistic genes in my family!  STILL tickles me when I make something pretty!

Below is everything I used to make this card.  Click on any picture and you will be taken to my OnLine Store!  If you purchase from me, I will send you a handmade card!

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you come back again!
