Reaching Out

Hey Guys!

Today I am sharing with you a mostly CASE’d from Tracy Elsom.  I loved her card so much I had to make it, I added more layers but other than that it’s like hers!

This cute Octopus is just so stinkin’ cute!!  I changed up the top of the banner, I had this really pretty Blackberry Bliss twine!   You can see her post here.

I popped up the Octopus and sign with Dimensionals so it is super cute in person!

I followed Tracy’s instructions on her blog, I sponged the background with Mint Macaron and then Blueberry Bushel.  Stamped the long seaweed in Tranquil Tide, stamping twice to give more dimension.  I set this aside, and stamped the octopus on Blackberry Bliss cardstock with Versamark and embossed with White.  Sponged OVER the white embossing powder to tint the white.  I used Blackberry Bliss on the bottom and Night of Navy at the Top.  It’s so cool in person!!  After I was sure the base was dry, I stamped the ‘net’ in Versamark and then embossed that with White Embossing Powder.  Be sure if you make this that it’s dry and that you use the Embossing Buddy!  For some reason White EP loves to stick to EVERYTHING!

Still Night NEW Stamp set in Holiday Catalog

Hey Guys!

Today I am sharing with you an easy card that you can make if you are in a hurry.  This can be for a man or woman!  Those type of cards are hard to come by!  I love the new Owl in the stamp set from Stampin’ Up! called Still Night.  The branch can be used different ways and the owl can look different depending on how you color it.

I stamped the Buffalo Check stamp (also from SU!) onto Crumb cake using Early Espresso ink. Sponged the edges to make it look even more ‘old’.  I stamped the owl on a scrap of Vanilla and colored it using the Soft Suede/Crumb Cake Blends.  This stamp is EASY to color!  I used the Die that matches the owl, put Dimensionals on the back and he is ready to put on my card!  I die cut the branch from Soft Suede cardstock laid it over a Very Vanilla oval die cut with Stitched Framelits.  I sponged the edges of the oval with Soft Suede and used the Early Espresso marker to add the stitched look.

I hope you like my easy card!  I would love to hear what you think.

Christmas Scrapbook Pages using Winter Woods

Hey Guys!

Today I am sharing with you a THREE page spread that I did for my Daughter.  Scrapbooking is my First passion, it’s the reason I got involved with rubber stamping!  Who knew that I would STILL be doing this 17 years later?!

I’m way behind on my scrapbooking, my daughter just left for college and I’m at Christmas 2006!   Just a ‘tad’ behind!

Here are my pages:

Page 2:

And this is the last page:

I don’t usually use Designer Series paper (DSP) on my scrapbooks, I tend to hoard them.  But this came out so well, I will just have to re-think that!

For the Deer and the Trees, I stamped the Deer First and then masked them and then stamped the trees.  It makes it look like the deer are in front of the trees!!

The supplies for these pages are listed below, just click on any of the pictures and you will be taken straight to my OnLine Store!!

I’m off to get my fingers even MORE inky than they are already!

Sitting Pretty

Hey Guys,

Today I am sharing you another CASE’d card (Copy and share everything), I got this idea from Nicolle Belisimo on Pinterest.  It’s almost exactly like hers!  Thanks Nicolle!

My vase is a different color, and I embossed the words in Copper.

I love the copper ribbon!

I used the Stamparatus to line the stamps up, boy does that make it nice!!

It’s a Sloth!!

Hey Guys,

My family has a very funny story about Sloths.  Since this time I have always had a special place in my heart for Sloths.  If you want to hear the story, just send me a msg and I will tell you.  I don’t want to bore everyone!  HA!

I was inspired by a card on Pinterest by Melissa Davies, you can see the card here.  I changed up SOME of the card, but the general idea was hers!  Thanks Melissa!

As soon as I saw the Designer Paper Animal Expedition I HAD to get it only because of this stinkin’ cute Sloth!  I wish it was a stamp, but he’s pretty easy to cut out, so I’ll take what I can get!

I used the Leaf ribbon because not only does it look awesome, but it’s so easy to adhere to the back!!

Painted Glass with Rose Glimmer Paper

Hey Guys,

This card is the Epitome of a Girly Card!!  I used the Petal Promenade Designer Paper, with the die from the Painted Glass bundle.  The butterfly is from the same stamp set!  I used a Fresh Fig ink pad with an aqua painter and the Petal Pink for the middle to color the butterfy.  Then I covered the whole thing with Wink of Stella!  This card is so much fun!

The base is Fresh Fig, next layer is Petal Pink, then black and finally the Designer Paper.  The banner is Petal pink edged with the Rose Glimmer!  HAD to add the sparkle!!

This is a very simple card, just pop out the die, stamp the sentiment and the butterfly.  Color the butterfly and layer  all the cardstock and you are done!  BUT, it is so pretty!!  You would think it took much longer.

I was inspired by Rene Daley, you can see her card here.

Thanks for stopping by!!  I appreciate you!

Painted Glass Clean and Simple card

Hey Guys,

Today I am sharing with you a Clean and Simple (CAS) card.  I don’t do these very often, but I always ask myself why I don’t when I make things this pretty!

I used the Stained glass Bundle, which is a definite need if you haven’t bought it already!  The center of the image is punched out with the 2″ circle punch!  LOVE when I can use a punch!

Here is the card:

There is a Rhinestone in the center of the medallion that I colored with a Bermuda Bay Blend.  The black outside is from the die, cut twice.  It’s a half circle, but I put them together and hid the seam with the Banner in Petal Pink.  Then the Black Cording.  I also have more Rhinestones colored the same way around the card.  Polka Dot Embossing folder was used also.

Hope you like this as much as I do!!  I’ll be posting again soon!

Thank you for your support!

Christmas in July Final Card #6

Hey guys,

I’ve been sharing with you all the Christmas cards I did for my Christmas in July class……hope you have liked them so far!

Today is the Bonus Card where my guests only made 1 of this one. The reason is because I would have had to buy at LEAST 4 – 5 packages just for this one Designer paper since I had 10 people come and if they each did 3, well you do the math!

This was one of my favorites that we made.  I love plaid and the green with the blue is so pretty!  Plus the trees stamped on the front really remind me of picking out Christmas trees!  Does it you?

Here is the front of the card:

And the inside:

Isn’t this a pretty card!?

I added Wink of Stella under the trees on the front and under the one on the inside to give it the ‘snowy’ feeling.  One of the trees is popped up on the front to add dimension.

The supplies are listed below, click on any picture to be taken to my OnLine Store!   This is the end of my Christmas cards, be sure to come back to see what I make next time!

Thank you for supporting me!
